About FinoQ

The cog that connects everything you already use.

FinoQ is financial-operations infrastructure. Not a wallet, not a payment service provider, not another accounting app. We are the layer that connects the PSPs, banks, mobile money operators, paybills, tills, accounting and tax systems a business already uses, into one place.

Why the name changed

PayHero Africa is now FinoQ.

PayHero started as a way for small businesses in Kenya to get paid through the channels they already had. It grew into something wider: verification before a payment, collections and payouts during, accounting and tax after, and one ledger beneath it all.

The name no longer fit. Customers kept assuming we were a payment provider, and the most important thing we do is the opposite: we leave your providers exactly where they are and connect them.

FinoQ is short for financial operations. Same team, same platform, same accounts. The name now says what the product does.

  • Connects, never replaces

We do not ask you to move your money, your customers or your accountant. We connect to what you already run.

  • Plug and play

Every connection is a swappable component. Connect only what your business uses, and once connected, it happens by default.

  • Nothing hidden

If a capability exists, it is on the API. No dashboard-only features, no sales-call-only features.

  • Your data stays yours

Bring your own credentials, keep your own accounts, take your statements with you.

Who we build for

Three audiences, one platform.

Small businesses

Shopkeepers to SMEs with several channels and not enough hours. Stop juggling M-Pesa messages, bank statements and a notebook to balance the books.

Fintech founders

Your moat is your product, not your integrations. Launch on infrastructure that is already connected and bring your own credentials.

Developers

One integration, the whole ecosystem. One set of docs, one sandbox, one auth model, one webhook pipeline.
